The earning result of U.S. Corporations in quarter 3 are mix. While investors are inspired by the better‐than‐estimate results in financial sector, technology sectors are under pressure as some of the big names missed the market estimations. In one week, U.S. S&P 500 rose by 0.32 percent and U.S. NASDAQ dropped by 1.26 percent.

Construction on new homes accelerated by 15 percent last month from August. Building permits also shot up to a four‐ year high, rising 11.6 percent from a month earlier.

China's economy slowed for a seventh straight quarter in July ‐ September. China’s GDP grew 7.4 percent in the third quarter from a year earlier.

China's consumer price inflation eased to 1.9 percent in September from August's 2.0 percent, while producer prices dropped 3.6 percent from a year earlier. Both numbers matched the forecast of economists.
